I messaged you back on Instagram. Wheelflip out here in Santa Fe Springs will do it, but I'm not sure about any places in New York. Were you calling powder coat shops, or metal plating shops?

Pauls Chrome in PA does it, Crazy $$. You won't find anyone in NY anymore.

Anyone have pictures of hypersilver VB3's/v703's or hypersilver V810's on a SGM 135i. Can't decide between the two..

Not too many photos of the V810s on many cars yet. I'm sure there are some examples of the V703 though. Unfortunately our gallery is down right now!

Wow, 265s! That's going to require a pull for sure. There was one other person on the forums here that mentioned that they're running 19" VB3s with 235/265 tires and no rubbing/no mods, but I just can't see how that's possible.

I am very new - 2013 128i standard coupe -I am looking at putting 19" v710 or vb3's on my stock 128i - not sure what set up so I don't get any rubbing?

I also have 4 Pro Contact 235/35/19s in my garage from my CC. Would these tires work? Cheers!

I'm guessing you're going staggered 8.5F/9.5R. At stock height you shouldn't get ant rubbing with the right tyre choice. VB3's are quite aggressive (et40/45, correct me if I'm wrong) so I'm guessing 215/245 would be ideal where as V710 (et45/50) are comfortable with 225/255.

Most people don't rub at stock height and I don't even rub with an Eibach drop but it's not a guarantee when lowered at all.

+1

The only thing is that our customers usually go with 225 front on them, but that's pretty spot on. Definitely don't recommend reusing the 235s.

I think my car is a freak. I mean it's dropped (Eibach, which is actually pretty low) and I get no rubbing at all, anywhere, even with a lot of weight in the car. Such as the other day, there were two of us up front (approx 350lbs) and a bunch of stuff in the back (approx 250lbs) and nothing. I'm not even as close to the shock absorber as I have seen some people either and I just thinks it's weird that each E82 seems to be different.

The car has no arch mods and no extra camber. I'm not complaining at all, in fact it's given me the green light to go a little lower and perhaps with a roll, upsize to 265 out back as there is room.

Is it possible to fit a 255/35/19 in the rear on VB3s? I'm up in the air between 18s and 19s. I saw a few people on here running 2xx/30/19, but last car had 235/35/19s all around and I really don't want to go with less side wall than that here in CT with potholes and crap.

Can't go wrong with a 265 in the rear!

Big no-no! For one, the offset of the wheels is pretty aggressive for this car, and a 255 usually won't work without a good amount of fender mods. Second, the profile is too tall for the car, which not only could throw off your speedo or cause potential braking problems, but will further increase your chances of rubbing. The fender clearance on the 1-series is really tight, so pick and choose your tires carefully.

I have VB3s in 18s and have 255s in the back with about 2 degrees of camber. I don't rub at all. I'm on Bridgestone RE-11A also which has a square sidewall.

I should also mention that I am on coilovers but not very low (Top of the tire is about where the fender starts, visually)

Wow, the RE-11A runs pretty wide too, much like a 265 in other tires actually. I'm surprised that you haven't rubbed before. Did you roll your fenders?

Looking to go VMR

So my tire installer chewed up my m-sport rims so I am probably going VMR 703 or 718's. Since I already have new tires...PSS 225/255 which wheel sizes and offsets would be best. Also I am looking for a darker rim. Not black probably gunmetal for my LMB. I tried cliking on your live stock link in your signature and it did not work. Also, how frendly are the VMR's with TPMS. thanks

18x8.5 ET45/18x9.5 ET50 is what we normally recommend with those tire sizes. We do not offer the V703 in those specs though, so you may need to do some fender rolling to get the rears to fit.

Our wheels are TPMS compatible, so you should have no issues swapping your sensors over.

Yeah, my fenders are rolled. I ran 265s in the rear for a while but it rubbed too much on dips and hard corners so I went back to 255s. Now I have no issues, even with passengers.

265/30/19 sits perfect with my VB3s in the rear, sport suspension and no fender work. Once I do lower it I will probably need my fenders rolled. Only time I do rub is when I have more than 2 people in the car and even that's not very often. Just depends on how big a dip is and if I can't slow down enough. Maybe my car is a freak too. I've had it since it had 0 miles so I know it doesn't have previous work. Hmmm.
