Time-saving tip for calling the 800#

Maybe this is common knowledge already, but you don't have to use the voice recognition on the phone.

Dial the number (800-831-1117) and when the voice prompt comes on, hit 2 for production status.

Wait for the prompt again, then punch in your 7 digit prod#.

Hit 1 to confirm that it was a production number (or 2 for partial VIN).


I hate talking to computers!!

Dude, you rock.
I call that number at least once a day, sometimes (ahem) more.
I ROUTINELY screw up during the voice recognition process.
This is going to save me at least a few minutes a day, which I am now free to spend on this message board!! THANKS! :biggrin:

I had the same problem until I actually spoke to a rep and they were able to tell me my production date even though the recording said scheduled with no date.
