I'm dealing with Towson. I talked with my CA yestersday and he confirmed that I could not get the car until March 22nd. He also told me that the cars were to be unloaded in NJ....but I don't see a NJ stop for this voyage and I do see a Balto stop. Do they have a VPC in Balto? And if so do you know where it is?

Just talked to my CA and he said that the VPC is in NJ and that all his cars land in NJ. On his tracking from BMW the Manon is expected to dock in NJ on March 1st. He also said that there should be no reason to hold up delivery until the 22nd BUT being a new car and all, with all the excitement, anything could happen.

My car is on the manon as well. It has been waiting to be shipped since the 12th!! Plexiglass, keep me updated on when Russel says we can pick up our cars, since I'm getting mine from there as well. This really has been a fun process.

Hey guys, I'm dropping in from M3post since I searched and found this thread. I have an M3 on the same boat and it's destined for Russel in Baltimore. My car will still have one more journey left and that is to arrive in Southern California at my home. I'm glad I found you guys as a lot of questions I had are now answered.

As I understand it, the ship actually docks in Baltimore and will do so on March 5th. I was thinking the whole time that it gets transported via truck from NYC to Baltimore.

If any of you locals drop into the dealership on the day the cars arrive, try to snap of a picture of my Alpine white M3. Maybe carve your initials onto the door or something before it get here.

thanks for the tip, mine said discharged at brunswick ga. doesn't really make sense considering everyone saying they are going to NJ, but im more-so getting worried about this march 22 thing i keep hearing about. dealer doesn't seem to be indicating to me that there will be a hold up though.

Ok, my agent gave me an update on my M3. He said the ship is to arrive in NJ on the 3rd (which we already knew), then it will be released to Russel on March 8th. So even though it docks in MD later on, the car is transported from NJ to Baltimore from what I'm reading.

The WW schedule page still shows it on schedule, now between the UK and Canada.

^ I didn't do too much digging, but from what I found on the MIGNON, sailwx.com hasn't positioned it since August of 2007.

Shippingphotos did show it near the UK yesterday, on schedule as you confirm.

Yep....that whole east coast of Africa thing was way old (I missed the date).
After the MIGNON gets out of the english chanel (I think) it will pop back up of the "shiptracker" radar.
Probably in a couple of days.
