Hmm, don't see any SGM, but it must be there somewhere, even the bmw site now says 'at veh prep ctr'

Sadly WhitePorker, NewARK DE is still about 2+ hrs. south of NEWark NJ

I know this post is somewhat pointless without pictures, but an update nonetheless... Badfish, I believe your M3 is at the dealership!!!! After snooping around all the lots, including the overflow hidden lots, I found a white M3 Coupe with a red interior. I did not see any of our 1 series though, I believe they may be holding them hostage at the VPC.. Badfish, I can try to take some pics of your car and send them to u tommorow.. It did look nice, though I didn't get out of my car.. I don't think its been PDI'd yet.. It still had the hook openings in the bumper uncovered.. When are you picking it up.. To make you feel better they put it far far in the back storage lot.

Joraq, thanks that's awesome man. If you could that would be great. But the delivery to the dealer is scheduled for Monday and it's in Maryland, not sure how long the drive is but I think it's less than a day. It should be the white with red interior and no navigation hump. BMW OC says it's already at VPC so I'm not sure if that's mine. Appreciate the help! :thumbup:

If you are referring to the White M3 that was delivered to an unnamed dealer on US40 in Baltimore. I delivered it Saturday morning at 1100am.

Another event in April -- I saw one on 'MyTrackSchedule.com', on the APR 26-28 on JC and APR 14-15 NJBMWCCA on SPR; but April is pretty jammed up.
First event VIR this weekend -14-16 MAR (911) then the new engine comes back out for torquing.
4 APR - SPR (135I?)
5 APR - HPDC - have to be there
11-13 APR - SPR (911)
18 APR - SPR (135I?)
21-22 APR - VIR - ACNA (911)

May have too few miles on the 135I to take it on the track at the 2 FATT events; but, I may drive it out there and just instruct.

Thanks for the tip, it's not on 'MyTrackSchedule.com', I emailed Jeff. I may have to play that by ear as that is 5 days in at SPR in a row. Logistics costs seem to be spiralling out of control.

5 days would be a nice workout. I'm hoping to squeeze the JC weekend of 26/27 into the Monday event on the main track but don't know if it is workable. Regarding mileage on the 135i, I've been wondering what I should think of as 'adequate break-in.' I think I'm going to call it whatever is on the odometer at the end of April... Of course there is always the option of just taking it easy out on the track...

Have a great time at VIR. I just returned from a visit to Thunderbolt to see the construction progress, I have some bad photos I'm about to post to rennlist.

Thank you! Just doing my job. I created a stir when i arrived with those babies that's for sure!

As far as 1 series go, we won't be delivering to dealers until next week. Dealers usually aren't permitted to take delivery much before the launch date on new models. I have actually driven more X6s than 135is. They are stockpiling 1s in the upper levels of the parking structure at PJVPC. I have an unexiciting load of cars for Towson for Tuesday. I will try to keep eveyone posted when the new stuff breaks!!!

My car is at the dealer in Maryland now and I'm a little worried. The shipping date estimate is longer than I had hoped. I'm paying in full in cash and I don't like the hold up one bit.

Has anyone in the area been by the dealership and seen my car? I'm reading about people redlining these cars on test drives and I want to make sure 5 year olds aren't jumping on the seats and my car isn't being used for test drives. Again, white M3, red interior.
