I'm interested in what you used to do this mod, even though I just bought new front and rear tyres to suit the standard set up yesterday

why dont you just get original 1M wheels then or replicas of them?? i think the sharper curves of them suits the 1M better than the older csl replicas like VMR sell. just my 2 cents.
With the standard 135i hubs the 10" ET25 rear is effectively ET15 and will be a good fit. 3mm more clearance on the outer edge than my 19x11 with the hub mod.
That front fitment is fine. Sorry about the dirt...

The rear hub mod uses some specific 130i parts to match the 1M hub position but allow use of the 135i rear brakes.
Brake discs:
34216795755 slotted
34216787931 plain
Both are expensive and take a while to get so I used some aftermarket ones from Germany.

Hubs:
33-41-6-760-058-M36

Wheel bearings need to be replaced as part of the swap 33-41-6-775-842-M842

ECS sell a kit: ECS Hub Kit

It's a bastard of a job or up to $1k labour so only really worth it if you want full compatibility with 1m / M3 wheels. I'm a bit annoyed that I bothered since now I'm swapping it all out but I wasn't 100% certain I was doing the S65 swap at the time. Hopefully someone else can use them...

Soon. I figured it makes the most sense to have a thread titled something like "Australian S65 powered 1M clone" but was wary of starting it before before it was actually done!
The 1M conversion is done and the car is off having the S65 installed over the next few weeks so it's probably time I started the build thread...

Once they start it will be their main job but I have given it a couple of months at least mentally.

subscribed! good work so far, I am actually in the process of getting my n54 135i converted to a 1M body, ordered parts from the UK, just having some issues with sourcing specific parts for the kit and rim fitments are giving me headaches

I got all my mine from ECS in one hit there was just an issue with one of the front guards in terms of availability but it was sorted. I was going to order the rear quarters as well but shipping was huge so I am going the fabricated route.

Agreed rims have been a headache but I contacted VMR who pointed me in the right direction. Many who have gone down this route have done the M3 suspension upgrade which sets rims back to the 1M offsets. Research and using 1 Addicts has paid off.

Good luck and happy to help if I can with any questions.

Cameron's Custom Bodyworks
I used Prior Design fibreglass guards and they did a good job fitting them and blending them in. They did the paint but TBH there are better places for paint (I've used Manganos before and they've done great work).
My car started out planned as a mostly track car so I made some compromises. If you were doing a really nice one with fabricated rear guards I'd talk to someone like kip McIntyre (IG Precious_metal).

Small update today. My 135i has PDC front and rear. The 1M rear bar came with sensor mounts and holes and I want to retain for the front.

Ordered these from the UK today

After heaps of research and quite a few posts have made a deposit on a set of 359's that originally came off an E90 M3 Competition Pack.

This has been my biggest stress to date and now resolved.

This has been my biggest stress to date and an over budget blow out as I did not anticipate the actual cost of rims and tires. I kept using Simmons OM 1's as my base as these are around $2k fitted for 20". I assumed they would fit 1 series and that 19" would be cheaper but fail on both accounts.

Given the real cost of an inferior product very excited about getting OEM gear for my project.
Congrats mate! excellent choice, have you considered re-painting the car, maybe San Marino blue?
