prices in UK for nearly everything are high, probably
the highest in europe it's not called RIP OFF BRITAIN for nothing.
But the O.T.R price can usually be undercut by using a brooker or hard negotiation

I don't think that you should necessarily expect to be flamed.

I agree that the US enjoys some of the advantages of being a very large market, but I'm not sure that we are spoiled. For example we haven't received any of the BMW diesels despite their availability in the rest of the world. However, hopefully that will change in the not too distant future. I do wish that BMW would just give me a 135i or 123d, but they like most companies are trying to maximize their profits and they will charge as much as they can. :iono:

Having spent some time in Asia and Europe I've witnessed some of the questionable pricing practices of companies. Some are due to taxes, some are due to financial markets, some are due company marketing decisions, but in a lot of cases they seem less than fair.

Anyway, despite the steep prices and other obstacles I do hope that you and others are fortunate to get the car that you want and enjoy it to the fullest.

Korea even heavily taxes domestic made cars. Basically, if you can afford a car in Korea then you can probably afford a driver too. A Hyundai is so much cheaper in the US that you can almost argue that they are dumping cars here.

Actually no they don't..but they don't have what I guess you would call a mass certification..meaning take 2 cars and inspect them and asy yep they are good..like the U.S. has..Japan inspects each and every car, and puts all import cars in the higher tax brackets..shit is evil a gawd damn 300c cost 80,000 dollars here

You guys are goofy.

Look at the figures of the 335i in UK prices.

They are not a direct conversion rate.

The 135i will probably be about 32-34k and the 128i will be about 4-6k less than that.
