^^^^ I drive about 50,000 miles a year and plan on making this my daily driver... Definitely buying... Just hoping I can pay off my E36 so I don't have to trade her...

I drive maybe 8k miles a year. The lady is going back to grad school for 3 years. I own my current car and don't have a mortgage. I don't want the 135 for more than 3-4 years. I'm leasing if I can get a good structure and keeping my Subaru since it's paid off (if I can afford to do so.)
I just don't want to own a turbo'd BMW for the long run. |

You're paying for it either way, but with leasing you're just paying for the depreciation plus interest. Even with buying you don't technically own the car until you get the title. If you plan to keep the car then buying is usually a better option, but if you like a new car every 2-3 years then leasing has some advantages. Credit wise, it's actually harder to get a lease than a standard car loan. Also, unless you get a high rate on your loan why would you want to place such a large down payment? Aren't there better places to put your money instead of in a car? :iono:

Car = Depreciating Asset.
Unless you are flipping the car at market or better quickly upon initial release to someone who cant get one themselves....keep your cash. |

Definitely purchasing... a BMW out the door for under 35k....
Besides the money factor will be terrible on this thing, I am sure they will sell them so quickly the lease incentives (outside of what I expect to be a 80%+ residual on 2 year 10k) will be very minimal.
