Sport seat options for 2012 135i?

Hello. I have 2012 135i with standard heated seats. I also have 2008 335i with sport seats and so love that seat on my 135i! Looking for sport seat options that would fit our cars? all e90, e91, e92 fit? found seats from 2011 335i. would these seats would fit on the 135I?

3 Series seats will fit, as well as FXX seats which would be my choice.

for the F8X seats, I believe there is some plug work required, but I definitely could be wrong.

Ya e82/e92 seats are interchangeable.
You may need to swap bases if you're changing to powered or unpowered.

Pretty sure fishee is right. I recall reading elsewhere that E92 is the only direct bolt-in for our cars. The sedan/wagon seats are supposedly different. Not sure about verts.

E92 seats are the direct fit. E90/91 front seats don't slide forward so backseat access would be non-existent. I think E93 seats may work, but check just in case there is some difference due to the seat belt upper mount.

I swapped mine out a couple of years ago:


I got mine from a guy who pulled them out of his E87 (convertible). While the passenger seat was fine, he had swapped his leather driver seat with a buddy for a tattered and torn Sensatec seat. I ordered seat foam and leather on Ebay (I think from an E92) and what I thought was foam and leather for the seat back (also E92) but it turned out to be the entire seat back assembly. It ended up being far easier to swap out the full seat back assembly than to swap just the foam and leather. So, my driver seat is a Frankenstein seat - bottom assembly from an E87, bottom foam/leather from E92, seat back assembly/foam/leather from a different E92. My passenger seat has the black plastic cover on the side for the side airbag, while my driver has a full leather cover (which rips open if the airbag deploys).
