Towing and jack pads
Sorry if this was answered before but to my understanding, when towing, the T-hooks go where the jack pads are. Any time I have to strap up my e82 I basically destroy my pads and have to order new ones.
I was curious what others solutions were to this? I don't tow much and if I did I would probably just leave them out but for example I got on a dyno last week which meant destroying my rear jack pads by removing them and ordering new ones. Is there a method to remove them I am unaware of or does anyone make replacement pads that can be taken off and on? |

Push the clips with a flathead screwdriver (wrapped in a towel) from the sides of the pad. I think some of the clips survived when I changed mine out, but I'm not sure.
Order from FCP and get lifetime jack pad replacements! |
