Winter wheel set up on today
Well I have decided today to put the winter wheels on the car after giving it a quick clean.... I know some people will say I am too soon, but he temps are slowly dropping and I wanted a nice dry day to change them over so today was the day
This is how it looked after the wash with summers on.... And how it looks now...... Hope you like

Nice ride.
Like my setup, it looks like you went down a size from 19" to 18" for your winter wheels - do you know of a way to tell the computer that the wheels have gotten smaller? Otherwise wouldn't the speedo indicate overly high speeds and in turn register too many miles on the odometer since the computer is calibrated to the rotation of a 19" wheel? -Crumb |

BUT: I'm running square 225.... 40(this number is the percentage of the tyrewidth and the size of the sidewall) 18" wintertyres,. Which is a tad too small(should have been 45 but then it's a tad too big...) , coming back to your question. So I get a slightly faster accelleration and a slightly lower topspeed(doesn't matter in wintertyres) and an odometer who is a bit positive. I wanted smaller tyresizes than 235 @ wintertime. To wide can be disfunctional in snowy conditions. 235 is the max imho. square. Cheers and welcome here. Robin |
