Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

Well, GT5 came out today for PS3. I was curious if anyone else on here picked it up? You can't buy the 135i right away as it costs more than you start out with.

in all seriousness when is the full game coming out?

leave it to polyphony to over fill their plate...making gauges for the skyline and trying to make the best sim driving game ever.


i do want to get a ps3 for the blue ray and gt5 and possibly for metal gear solid 4

but i find my self rarely playing any video games now a days...

Anyone know any stores with demos of the game? Interested but want to see it in person before taking the plunge.

You can download the demo from the Playstation network, its just a little hard to find now cuz is been out since December '06 I think.

i bought it yesterday, should be studying for my exam but i played her...

its pretty sweet, graphics are intense, the incar view is amazing, hard to drive with but im forcing myself to get used to it

bought the RSX first off, saved up my money and bought an AW 135i, haha LOVE IT

to answer some question, 6 tracks, with some variations so i think its like 10-15 tracks, 80 cars or so

online is really fun, and you get huge cash for winning the race or even placing podium so its nice to play online and still advance in career

dunno think i covered it all

haha I chose the same cars as you. I just bought the RSX until I could get the 135i. The first time around Daytona with the 135i was night and day compared to the RSX :headbang:

Well with the high finance rates I had to sell the RSX and pay an additional 60k

Yup 64,300, and you start out with 35,000. Just buy a cheap car to start, do the easy races a few times, and you're set.

pretty sure most wheels would work since its a usb connection

who knows if its FULLY compatible, but definitely id try out something u have

Guitar for GH2 doesnt work and thats just a USB too

I got it last night. Finished C and B class races. You get the 135tii for finishing B class. Bought a 135i as well. Both are fun cars. The interior view is great. Stayed up until about 1:00 am playing online. Fun stuff.

I got it last night too. As soon as I had the money to get the 135i i bought it in the same color as the real one I own and took it online...played the High speed ring online for about 2 hours and had fun smoking all those RX-8's and EVO's !!!

yeah not a fan of 2 laps though, kinda short, but hopefully intermediate and pro online is a bit different, with penalties or something

I'm finishing C Class and saving up for the 135i. I started out with MCS, my previous car. Awesome game.

I just unlocked the Tii. I love how they changed the interior. You can see the carbon fiber trim, different gauges, no nav. It's sweet!

Cant wait to pick up this game. Im pretty sure the full version is coming out March 2009 but then again release dates always change.
My name on ps3 is nighthunter85. I have no friends on there :-( so add me. For now I play need for speed pro street online. Hopefully in a few days or so ill be playing gt5p online

The game has been out in Australia for about a month now. But I have not had much time to play it. I have finished class C races though. Now tell me, what wheel do you guys get to play your GT5 with?
