Comfort Access Acting Up
My Comfort Access is not working on my Driver's side door.
Normally when I touch the handle with the fob in my pocket, the door unlocks. It stopped a week or two ago. Also the remote fob unlock isn't working well either. Interestingly it works on the passenger side. Are there independent sensors for both sides? What do I do if one fails (which seems to be the case)? And no, it's not the fob battery - I tried both fobs, same result, and one has a brand new battery.

I know you said it's not the battery, but did you clean the contacts when you replaced it?
Symptoms sound like a bad fob. Maybe head to a parts store. (Autozone,O'Reilys). A lot of them have battery displays that can test your fobs wireless strength.

It's both fobs though. Plus, the passenger side works fine - it's only the driver's side. Battery shouldn't affect that.

Ah. Sorry. Missed that bit. In that case, I guess you'd have to look into the sensor on the drivers door and perhaps the receiver for the fob too. Good luck.
