Father and Son ride! Post up!

So, on Sunday my son and I went out for a drive together. We've done this together so many times and always have a great time.

This time was different! He turned 16 and officially has his license now. So, we went out for the first time with him not riding shotgun with me...but, him in his own car.

Me in my 1M and he in his 330ci!

Good times for sure!

That is awesome!! All of us Dads, know kids are the greatest gift in the world!!! I love doing car enthusiast things, but I like them even more when one of my kids will come along with me.

My kids are not old enough to drive, but I took them to the Welt, track experiences, cars & coffee, and most of my pics they are in the car with eyes rolling and sighing “dad has to take a pic of his car again”.....

I also lecture them on the brilliance of a manual transmission while driving them to and from school.

Awesome. I'm hoping to turn my niece into somewhat of a gear head.

I have 11 years to convince her that cars are cool before I have to buy her one.

My son also just turned 16, and did 4 track days with me this year. The 1M is not exactly a beginners car, so he is using an RX8 to learn with. Fun times!!

I'm planning on having him do the BMW teen driving school next summer and then of course a track day!

Oh man the 330ci is such a great car. I had one with the smg, which I believe most people didn't like but I loved it.
