Charge Pipe.
So yesterday I was driving and then I heard a pop that I think came from the engine area. I stopped and looked around but did not see/find anything wrong. Car was idling normal so I decided to drive off and disregard. Once I got going car drove normal until a little later when I tried to get on it a little bit and noticed I appeared to have no boost. Charge pipe came to mind at that moment and shortly after I got the message on the pic bellow. I put the car away once I got home but my question is will I hurt anything if I drive it light? Who has a charge pipe for sale? Hit me up. Last question, does aftermarket charge pipes require new BOV? Thanks

Make sure it's your chargepipe before you just go off buying parts. Also, it's a really bad idea to put a cheap/low quality BOV on your car. Either keep the stock DV units (just buy a replacement pipe with DV piping), or switch to a genuine Tial/Turbosmart/HKS/Synapse/etc. I would also STRONGLY recommend buying a known good charge pipe with the stock C-clip attachment. Chargepipes that don't fit properly are a time bomb. Final FYI, you will need to pair the charge pipe/BOV outlet size. Not all BOVs are the same size.
Ones that come to mind are the ER/BMS/CPe/VRSF. There's also the BMS version of the Phoenix Racing pipe, which is guaranteed to fit and is dirt cheap. Many charge pipes are available in BOV and DV variants.

Really? Did you have an early revision? Did you buy from BMS? Can't speak for them personally.

Thanks for the response guys, I will definitely verify if it is the charge pipe before I doing anything. I was thinking of BMS with OEM DV. How would this set up perform with JB4 which I will like to add later this summer?

Very well. The aftermarket CP's are far better than the OEM units. I went with the ER option.

Thanks for you input. I guess I should have been more specific, what I really meant to ask is which performs better BOV vs DV with JB4? Is one better than the other at holding boost? If performance is equal I would prefer DV as I am not big on extra loud "Pssssshhh". Thanks.

I see your point. I'd still probably ring them up if you're unhappy. Great service.

I thought this was less common on stock N55s. Are you tuned?
