Just purchased my 1 series, what a joy!
Scoured the country for the last month and half looking for the perfect car or the right deal and found the latter.
I happened to find a 135is in black with 41k miles for 20999. The dealership did not know there was a differentiation between the i and the is, and basically listed the car to be competitive with other 135i's. NADA trade in value already gave me ~5k in equity from the purchase price of the car and I couldn't be more excited! |

Wait until you put better rubber and a tune on it. Congrats. It is a wonderful car. Hard not to want to drive it every day.

This is the only picture I took today. Officially picking the car up Friday. Sitting beside my 17 year old go-kart that has been a blast to drive.
I'm going to have to invest in some buckets and wax to keep the black in good condition, but I couldn't pass up this deal. Oh, and I'm only parked like an asshole because there was a truck parked like an asshole when I was trying to park. Trickle down effect lol. |

The 135is comes with the Performance exhaust. It's part of the "is" package. Those lucky bastards. lol

The IS was somewhat of a bargain. PPK, forged 313s and performance exhaust. Maybe should have come with the suspension but maybe BMW thought it might not suit everyone.

Comfort is not sacrificed with the BMW Performance suspension. The car is more planted and only slightly stiffer and lower. BMW states 34% stiffer and 10mm lower than the standard 135i. Lessens the wheel gap a little and gives the car a cleaner look imo. My guess is it wasn't added because of expense.
