What color "brown"?
Interior or exterior?

According to the 2013 order guide, the 1-series was available in the following colors, only:

300 Alpine White
668 Jet Black
354 Titanium Silver
381 Le Mans Blue (ZMP package)
416 Carbon Black (ZMP package)
475 Black Sapphire
896 Blue Water
A52 Space Gray
A72 Cashmere Silver
A76 Deep Sea Blue
A82 Vermilion Red
B39 Mineral Gray

I think brown was a 2013 only color & very rare. One was FS here about a year ago.

Well I may have been misinformed...I was told 2012...maybe it was 2013 and I meant the exterior color.

It would have to be 2012. I can check tomorrow, though I don't recall ever seeing one!

Keep your eyes on all the car sale sites they do pop up, I was looking at one last month. But it sold. And a couple months before that there was another brown one for sale.
Both on car gurus. You do see them but they are rare

Confirming Marrakesh Brown (B09) was available from 2012 MY start of production in 3/2011 until it was discontinued (along with Blue Water, Crimson Red, and Montego Blue) in 2/2012. Interestingly, Carbon Black paint started in the MY 2012 in 3/2012.

Gartho, this is the only brown one I've seen and I've been searching 128's for months. I'm not looking for brown, or a drop top, or a slushbox, so it's all yours.

Certainly an unusual color on that car!

Kind of reminds me of that poor-taste joke we used to describe the original Ford Taurus: "What's brown and tapered on both ends?" . . .
