WTB 2011+ 135i manual
Looking to buy a 135i.
Budget 10k-20k depending on the condition, options mileage etc. Must be 6 speed manual and msport (I know the DCT is faster but I really like having the control of the clutch and I'm also not a fan of chrome) Color preference: any color but silver, prefer white or black, black interior Mileage ideally under 75 Modifications okay Looking for a west coast car. I'm in Seattle. Last edited by Baileyboo; 01-23-2021 at 02:42 PM.. |

Hey, deep sea blue metallic 2011 6MT w/ 57k miles here, located in northern CA. Needs nothing. Garaged and not driven often due to the pandemic. Always been stock except for PPK coded a few months ago.
To be honest, the market for 2011+ 135i models has been getting a little hot so I’m hesitant to sell in your price range. PM me if still interested. |

Thanks for the reply! I'm willing to go over my budget for the ideal car but unfortunately silver and deep sea blue are low on my list.
Also if I'm getting into the $20s the 135is seems like it starts becoming an option like the one posted on the site. |

Deep Sea Blue is beautiful but I guess it's not for everyone. Miles are pretty good and PPK is like the 135is. Honestly all you really need from the 135is imo are those 313 wheels. And the PE.

It's a beautiful color but I just like the other options more. Also my comment on the 135is, all 135 values aren't in line with bluebook values and are at a premium but it appears the asking prices of a few of the 135is are closer in line to book values. Just a thought if I decide to sell down the line.

Totally, to each their own. Silver is not my favorite either. Hope you find what you're looking for. There's a really nice 2009 black one in the bay area (https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto...223114118.html) that is worth checking out. Of course, you have the n54 in that case. Otherwise, I would seriously go for that 135is and have it shipped. You'll probably be waiting quite awhile (maybe forever) for exactly the spec and mileage you want and under $20k. |

Yeah there is white/red combo on here that I'd buy today if it was closer. Still haven't gotten to the point of buying a car sight unseen but that maybe coming. |

I the N55 isn't a must just a want at this point probably should have clarified that a bit. Still in the research phase seeing what's out there and the prices. Seems like they are all going for 3-4k more than they were 6 months ago. Tracking if these are going to continue to increase or if values will plateau going into winter. |

BTW the N54 is a great motor. I've owned 2 (e90/e92). For the 10k extra to buy an N55 1er you can replace everything that will ever go wrong with one. Note that the HPFP replaced under warranty and the other had both turbos go out for the 2 I owned. That's why I waited for the right N55. As far as values, I think the enthusiast community is finally getting that waiting for BMW to produce something that can replace the older driver's cars is a lost cause. We should've protested every dealer when the X6 came out. But the way it's looking, they simply will never make a compact, light, analog coupe again. Values are going up for low mileage examples for the same reason that e90 (N55 at least) values are going up: people like these cars and drive the hell out of them, and by the time 20 years has gone by, not many are left in decent shape (try finding an E46 in actual smart purchase shape under $35k). While I'm on my soapbox, you can argue the 2 series is a true BMW left in the lineup, but personally, I hate the way the 2 series looks in person. The M2 is perhaps an exception but you are forced to deal with screen after screen on any of the new cars, not to mention electric steering and terrible stock exhaust notes. |

I have a Crimson Red 2011 135 6spd 62K miles I'm about to list. Blk interior, I'm in North San Diego so it might be a little far. Car is essentially FBO with M3 suspension bits Koni yellow shocks, dinan parts. Heavy on maintenance with 4 plus clean blackstone reports and every stock part/extras, did a bunch of maintenance at 58K. I just took photos today and need to find a fair price to list it at and write an AD. It doesn't meet your specs but I apparently cant PM anyone until a certain amount of time or posts?, no need to reply if you're not interested just trying to get my posts up. Here are the pics(if you are interested and cant access them lmk). I haven't done my due diligence on a fair price but certain will find something fair. My wife pregnant and mad about it so its gotta go(or me)

Reference your "no corrosion" comment I know of 6 1 series in my small city. 5 of 6 winter store their car thru winter so no corrosion. I suspect the same situation [NWD-not winter driven] in much of the North East. My 2008 only has 64K miles.
