135i vs m3

Ran my buddy yesterday a few times. He has an E92 M3 with intake and axle back 6mt. I have a 135i N54 auto with FMIC, charge pipe, berk mids, and axle back running cobb stage 1+ aggr. Took him every time three runs, one from a dead stop others from 20 mph roll. took him by car and ahalf from rolls took him by two from dead stop. overall was happy with the car. cant wait to do downpipes and upgrade my LPFP to make some serious power. All I could think about after is how bad this car needs an LSD. FML$

If you hate white rims, why do you have them? Are you planning on changing them, or are you just gonna keep them and hate them?

If you're looking to conceal the brake dust, how about gun metal or some kind of grey?

My friend just got a 2015 M3. Went for a ride. In its stock form its a beast, but in terms of straight line acceleration a modded 135i isn't that far behind. Then factor in the $$ saved, you realize just how impressive our 135is are after even light modding.

But yes... they NEED a limited slip. I want one in a year or so. Until then its at like 1/2 its performance capability.

Straight line, but the 135i is missing a lot in handling and looks compared to the m3

I think the E82 is one of the best looking BMW's in years. Love it's size and squat proportions. It's got a tough, aggressive bulldog stance. I love the way it looks.

I agree, I have been looking around and the 1er is a beautiful car. It's like the more I look at it and see newer cars become available, the more I like it.

I completely agree. And as someone with a bad back I'd sell my soul for the new M3 interior. Those seats are amazing, and the smell of the high quality leather used in the FULL leather package, is just intoxicating.

The only thing that compares well is the logo on the hood. Anything else is wishful thinking. The 135is is quick in a straight line but so is a Mustang GT & you save even more money.

Respectfully, the only Mustangs I've seen that can even approach my car in terms of straight line speed have a Snake on them - and those guys didn't save any money over what my investment is thus far. A non-blown 5.0 GT of any year becomes small in my rearview mirror after 3rd gear.

Truth. M3 out of the box is leagues above a 135i in suspension and handling and man are they beautiful. I appreciate and love my 135i. I love so much about including the looks but the m3 is a much more traditionally beautiful machine.

Good for you but your car is not stock. Stock to stock the Mustang is quicker & modified they are way quicker.

#1 135 on the Drag Times list 11.012 @ 129.300 MPH

#180 Mustang GT on the Drag Times list 11.021 @ 126.330

By about #178 they are in the 10's. Not exactly 135 rear view mirror material.
