WTB: Space Gray Front Bumper Cover, or set of bumpers
This is a feeler to see if anyone is sitting on an excellent condition front, or set of bumpers in space gray. Factory paint preferred.
Have a pre-LCI non-sport 128i. Would consider the same as what I have, or something else compatible as long as the condition is excellent. Nothing horribly wrong with mine, but 12 years/121k of daily driving in the northeast is starting to show. Looking for pickup within a reasonable driving distance of southern CT. New England/Tri-state area, maybe a little beyond. |

Long shot bump.
May also be interested in M-sport/135i bumpers that are NOT space gray if they need little to no repair prior to respraying in my color. |

Just FYI, the M sport bumper conversion isn’t as straight forward as I’ve seen represented on the forum. The extra parts required nickel and dime you to death. |

I hear ya, the M sport front isn't a one-step swap, definitely a consideration.
Honestly, I really like the simple horizontal look of the pre-LCI base front bumper. Unless I find a perfect one in space gray (unlikely), I'll probably have my current one resprayed. But I do love the M-sport rear. If the paint is getting mixed anyway, almost may as well do that swap... |

If you end up doing the m sport rear make sure to budget for the diffuser and the plastic structure underneath the bumper. A few of the DIYs posted here claim the structures are the same. I found out the hard way that they are different. The m sport rear has additional tabs that will prevent the bumper from seating properly on the 128i structure. |
