New 135 Owner - Took delivery Fri evening

So I have been reading everything on this site for the last 14 months now. I have totally become 'addicted' to this car. However, with an e36 M3, e30 M3 and e34 525 in the stable and no car payments I was trying sooo hard to avoid temptation for the 1er.

I finally caved in.

Last week I dicovered the 0.9% financing offer on '08 dealer stock. Then I find the dealer had the exact car I would order in stock for almost 60 days. Finally I visit and the sales advisor gives me invoice plus pricing. How could I turn it down right?

So I am now the proud owner of an Alpine White 135, 6MT, Black Boston leather, Alum trim, Prem Package, Sport Pack, Cold Pack, Ipod, Sat radio.

Love it!!!! (except for that freagin door gong)

0.9% finance? Man your economy must be stuffed right now.

Mind you, the peace of mind knowing we're doing better is somewhat mitigated by the finance rate I have to pay.

Congrats on the new toy! And you can't beat the deals that can be had right now...after falling in love with the 1er in the Spring, I convinced myself to hold onto the MINI for at least another year, but dealers being so desperate to move units right now I'm back to considering the 1.

I'd be interesting in hearing your comments about how the 135i compares to the other cars in your stable. I know it's apples to oranges, but any initial impressions?

Good for you on the smokin' deal, however, the bong...while annoying at first, you adapt, improvise, learn to ignore, life does indeed go on, you then begin to appreciate all the plasticy squeaking interior bits. It's all good, though.Welcome to the BMW 1.
