Can't complain as she held up for 100,000km of bleeding edge tunes from 3 days old.

New engine is in.
Making a few minor mods at the fabricator before heading back to Advan for a start-up and some time on the dyno do a run-in.

How to completely destroy your N54. Photos below.

Kaboom!

Back on the road soon with a Melbourne trip after the New Year for my Nizpro box.
Now that's what I call destructive testing! What was the final result from the replacement built engine?

I finished my build and wound the boost up to 34.5psi. It made 627rwkw and just shy of 1100Nm.

Love the numbers. Congrats.
My car has been doing the covid stich in time thing as the fabricator takes 14mths to do 3 weeks worth of work!! F@*&

I have had nowhere to park it following a relocation out of Sydney so no real harm. We are literally down to new catch can brackets and I can start it and run her in.

As usual I have been tempted to make minor upgrades and optimisation everywhere such as the turbo intake, wastegate flow, new IC to plazmaman manifold pipe, custom expansion tank, cooling system, exhaust finesse. Pretty much version 4 of the kit.

Large TB testing once run in followed by a new ITB intake on 98 before deciding which system to run with ahead of a final trans and turning it up.

There is much to do on my list yet before we see a Max number.

The Nizpro box has turned ugly and off to VCAT we go as the trans apparently doesn't or has never existed despite payment in full.

I've heard the odd negative comment on Nizpro. Wonder what the story is. There are developing alternatives now. If not a Nizpro what will you do ? 8 speed ?

The fully paid for box doesn't exist and they don't have enough parts from halted production years ago to complete one as promised.

The guru autoworks looks like the best option for a HP26/28 instead of an 8 speed and DCT built strong enough without access to the Australian Mint. I would love either of these but too much investment at this stage.
