Is the 128 Cab the volume seller?

I see so few 1 series on the road but it seems like almost all of the ones I do see are cabs. Is there a sales breakdown available?

I think I've seen almost all 128i coupes at this point. Only a couple of cabs, and I think only one 135i other than mine haha.

Then again you're in Texas and I split my time between Baltimore and NJ..

I've seen about 50:50. Surprizing to me, that I've seen as many cabs as coupes, esp in Canada.

The only 1's I have seen in the states are 128 cab's. Two black and one white. I did see a 135 near Paso De Stelvio.

Been driving mine a month and have only seen one red 135 so far...

I've seen a few around the KC area-- an AW convertible with coral interior (not sure if it was a 128 or a 135), a silver vert 128 which I believe is the one that I test drove

, and a black 135. I haven't seen any other hard top 128s other than my own.

I have yet to see another 128 Coupe on the road. I've seen about 5-6 128 convertibles (4 of them in San Diego) and 2 135 Coupes.

1ers seem to be surprisingly rare on the road still.

I saw a white 128 cab just last night.

I've seen a lot of 1's but I still think the majority (not by much) are 135 coupes.

In the UK, i see vastly more coupes than cabs, no surprise with our weather though! However it absolutely amazes me the number of white ones around, 1/3 series and Audi A5/S5s are the cars to have in white apparantly!

In San Francisco I've only seen 2 other 135i coupes, one black and one blue.

I believe the 135i coupe is the current volume seller, though the volume is still fairly low all the way around.

For the first few months it was definitely easier for my local dealer to find allocations for 135i's than 128i's - that will probably shift more towards the 128i over time.

I havent seen any cab's. i saw one 135 before i bought mine and one 135 and one 128 since i've bought mine. still pretty rare aroudn me.
