Have been toying with the idea of a second A-B car to get back and forth to work, especially in DC area.

There are some really great deals going on for the VW Jetta, so pulled the trigger on one. Really great for what it is.

She's my one and only car. Not very practical for Colorado winters, especially since I didn't even put snow shoes on her last season (Y-rated summers, ). That said, I work from home, so the snow shoes weren't really needed.

Just picked up my 2013 135is, but holding on to my MK7 GTI as well. Two daily's, both fun. Don't make me choose.

My E88 135i is a weekend/nice weather car. I have only put 10k miles on it in 2 years.

I DD a 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E (somebody rear ended and totaled my 08 Avalon Memorial day weekend). My wife DD's a 2016 Lexus RX350.

I drive my 135i every chance I get (just not during the heat of the day in the summer)!

Yeah, I've grown onto it over the past few months. It really is nice when just driving comfortably, and then switching it whenever.

I wanted to like the 2er so bad (test drove a stock 235 and a dealer modded 235) and I was left kinda unimpressed.
Definitely the 1M is stiffer, and this is after I retrofitted the M3 steering rack w/o the Servotronic feature. I still prefer raw feeling of the hydraulic, but the electric one (in Sport+) is just as good. Maybe even better, but I haven't had a chance to take the M2 out in the track, only AutoX.

We have a hatch back for long trips and to haul the dog around but other than that, the 1 is my daily - I have only had it for a month but based on its primary use (commute) I find myself Re-prioritizing future mods... suspension and exhaust are now at the bottom of the list, cdv delete is at the top though.

My car is my only car. And now I'm absolutely fascinated that a guy who would do that to a 1M has two 2002s! What the hell? I'll take the '74 (you lucky bastard).

My 128i was my only car up until two weekends ago when I brought home a 2006 Z4 M Roadster with just under 35,000kms (21,875 or so miles) on the odo. My 128i is buttery smooth and brilliant for all weather commuting and practical enough for me when it comes to passenger/cargo hauling. But the Z4 M Roadster is just an awesome summer sports car and I've always wanted that plus convertible in a small package, not to mention it gives me a chance to own an S54 powered M car (another long time dream). I like smaller cars especially when you can get a small BMW And it allows me to continue my love of naturally aspirated inline sixes mated to a manual.

Have had this 330i 6MT since February. Didn't feel like putting unnecessary miles on the 135i anymore. It's stiff and very loud and is only going to get more track focused.

Not sure what I wanna do with this car. I'd like all of my cars to be decently track worthy but this has less power than I'd like for it's weight, though it is fast on the street.

Toying with the idea of a 535xiT. Fantasizing about an N62 swap in the E90.

Not now. 1 series sits in garage except on weekends. I have 2003 330i sedan that is daily. However from 2011 to 2013 1 series was my only car with kids. It was all good as daily also.

- 2010 Civic Si: Stock daily and SCCA H-Street AutoX car
- 2010 135i: Track toy and still streetable
- 1999 328i: Cheap drift slut
- 1990 240sx: Cheaper, shittier drift slut that I own a 1/3rd stake in

I drive my 1'er to work/around town whenever I feel like it. Though, the A/C broke recently, and Summer without A/C = death. That, and the 1'er is a bit of a bitch to daily, stiff suspension, and the transmission is a fucking workout in LA traffic.

Yes, that looks like a great little car. Lucky1 will have lots of fun in that beautiful little roadster. Love the red interior as well. And those low miles. Congrats!

Hell no I would be so screwed if this was my only car. Mostly because I have a tendency to be lazy about finishing maintenance / projects once I start.
