We do not have any photos of the Satin Black on a 1-series yet, but we'll be sure to post them once we do!

Here are photos of Satin Black EC-7's on a 1M. The wheels are 18x9.5" ET22 in the front with a 265/35/18 Toyo R888 and 18x10.5" ET27 in the rear with a 295/30/18 Toyo R888 tire.

No problem! We agree the car works really well with his modifications.
That is correct, profile 3 is the most concave looking wheel with the deepest curved spokes. He is using profile 3 wheels in the front and rear.

That car was running our 18x10" ET25 in the front with a 275/40/18 Toyo R888 that will definitely rub the fender liners with large amounts of steering input. The 40 series front tire is also very tall in comparison to the rear tire. A better fitting front tire would either be a 265/35/18 Toyo R888 or 275/35/18 extreme performance tires. The rear is an 18x11" ET25 with a 295/30/18 Toyo R888. We do not have direct experience running 18x11's on the rear of a 1M since the one at Bimmerfest was purely set up just for the show without a test drive for rubbing. We have another 1M customer running the same size Toyo R888 tire on an 18x10.5" ET27 EC-7 at stock ride height without any rubbing issues. This is the rear fitment with 18x10.5" ET27's and 295/30/18 R888's. The 18x11" ET25 is 8mm wider on the fender side and if the set up below was any lower you might run into rubbing issues without fender rolling.

The EC-7's have much improved brake clearance and the ability to fit a Brembo 380mm big brake kit without the need for spacers. The ARC-8 wheels are a little bit lighter but the EC-7 does have a stronger wheel face built for endurance racing. For the 1M crowd the EC-7 is also available in a new wider 18x11" ET25 size that is wider than any ARC-8 available. One of the largest visual differences is the EC-7 uses curved spokes which can create for a much deeper concave look than the wheel specs actually indicate. Race Silver is also a new finish that many people seem to be preferring over the ARC-8's Hyper Silver finish.
