135i MT Tranny Noise

Hey everyone!

I searched the forum for this, but I did not find anything specific...

This morning it was pretty cold in Texas 36 degrees F or so.... and I noticed while driving to work that right after i started my car and started driving....That while in 1st or 2nd gear....I could hear noise from the transmission... (Noise went away when I took it out of gear and into Neutral)

It was not really a grinding type of noise...but it sounded like something was rattling down there....Not sure if it is related to being cold outside? Cause the noise seemed to go away after a while and this is the 1st time ever i have heard this noise.

Is this something I should be concerned with? Or is this normal?

This is for a 2011 135i Manual Transmission by the way with about 40,000 miles

This section is for 1M and not 135 ...
