Never considered the Sapp Black Metallic till I saw it in person. WOW,...Especially in the sun.
Looks like Sapph Blk Met & Coral Red for me. My suggestion to you is to go with what really makes you happy, or you will drive yourself insane like I did.

Go for white with black interior. I was thinking black too but changed my mind after i saw the car twice. The first time the 135 was in the showroom all polished up showing off its stuff. 2 days later it was outside for test drives and it was dirty as hell. Didnt look as good as 2 days ago. It was the metallic black so I think jet black would be even harder to keep clean. Im getting sparkling graphite since thats still dark but not as dark as black and probably easier to keep looking good. so for you I vote white. I saw a white with red leather and it looked really good. the white helps show off the nice lines of the 135.

Black Sapphire Metalic is just plain sexy, very simular to what I have on my R. That being said, Black is a PITA to keep clean and it looks like poop when it's dirty. But when's it clean it better looking than no other. Always liked White (Especially the Audi Abis white with the Titanium Package) White and carbon fiber trim (splitter, and rear spoiler) would look hot. That being said, White would be another PITA to keep clean ie: road tar, bugs, tree sap etc. So in short I'm still torn as well. But I first need to sell my car. Anyone in CT looking for a 04 R32 in mint condition. |

I don't know why, but this is a hard decision for me too. I've always done black or dark metallic blue, but I'm tired of both. I really like pearl, but why everyone is so ga-ga over AW is beyond me. As far as the interior, always done black, but it is too hot. The taupe-ette is just too... family sedan to me. Too blah. So that means leather of some sort with coral, beige, or lemon. I'm just not blown away by any of the combos. Never expected this to be so hard.
As far as your question, to me white has always been fleet cars. I have a pearl white car now. Didn't like it at first, but wow has that color really grown on me. If they offered some kind of metallic white, I would get it. But plain white??? I will say it would look good with beige or coral. Same goes for black. I have no problem with black interior, but the only thing I do like is how they break it up with the colors. So beige or coral would look equally good. |
