Dirty Interior Windshield
It's ALWAYS dirty. I was the inside of my windshield religiously but within 3 to 4 days it completely dirty to the point where I can't see out of it with sun glare.
I stopped using my windshield vent and I do use the AC from time to time. Why is it so dirty all of the time?

Probably just the windshield off gassing.
Use IPA and several microfibers. Spray the ipa on and wipe the windshield down. You'll eventually get it clean, but it will take a bit. Try not to use the same side of the microfiber twice as you'll just end up smearing it everywhere. |

Apparently, the heat from sun exposure through the windshield causes the oils from the dashboard vinyl/plastic trim to leach out and coat the inside of the windshield mixed with dirt and dust. That's why people use the windshield screen when parked to prevent this and keep their vehicle cool in the summer. Also, the trick to cleaning the windshield is after you've cleaned it, wipe/buff it down again with a different new, clean microfibre cloth.

Change whatever you are using to clean your dashboard... Some of the leather/vinyl products evaporate and make a serious mess of the inside glass...

I had a similar issue recently - a film would cover the windshield within days of a complete cleaning. It was driving me crazy as I was cleaning my windshield almost daily!
The appearance of the film was kind of sudden as I didn't change the way I cleaned the glass or use a different product to clean the dash (Aerospace 303). At first I thought it was the summer heat since I park my car in the sun at work. However, I didn't have this issue last summer. The one thing that changed was the air source for the A/C. I had unknowingly hit the button for outside air instead of recirculation of the inside air. I also noticed a bad smell coming from the A/C when I first started the car. Since I've changed the air source for the A/C to the "Automatic Recirculated-air Control AUC/Recirculated-air mode" (yes, that's what it's called in the manual!), the windshield film has been reduced greatly.

Had my windshield tinted with ceramic film to block heat and the off-gassing stopped. Just a FWIW.
