2012 128i MSport in Mass.
Clear-titled Jet Black 2012 BMW 128i, 94000mi, not a daily driver N51 SULEV WBAUP9C59CVF46554 6-Speed Halogen headlights Sunroof MSport trim No Navigation Black Boston Leather Interior Heated sport seats BMW PE 207 MSport 17in wheels Msport suspension (currently off the car) Modifications on the car at the moment: M3 front control arms M3 rear subframe bushings Ohlins Road and Track Suspension with uprated front and rear Swift springs H&R front sway CDV delete Wheel Studs ZHP knob BMW Euro intake box (top-load filter) with Mann Filter RevMotoring silicone intake tube Replaced Oil Pan with aluminum version from an AT car Bimmerworld stainless steel brake lines front/rear Delrin Shifter components + AKG motorsport DSSR Condition: Very Good interior, minimal wear on bolsters on front seats. Treated w leatherique yearly. Good black paint; it has a whole front bumper, side mirrors and hood clear bra that's about 6 years old; it does have rock chips from the previous owner (I'm the second owner since 11K mi) Maintenance: Regular Oil changes and fluid (coolant, trans fluid, PSteering) maintenance (have digital notes on dates and mileage) All Plugs and coils were replaced within the last year or so with OEM spec materials Worth noting that it is still on original WPump and TStat - have had NO problems with it, have done multiple long trips of 1000mi with NO issue at all Edit May 2020: Revisiting this listing again. I still love the car to bits and continued to use it as intended, except nowadays due to the virus still in full effect. I still drive it a few miles a week after work just to keep fluids intact. Sadly, it’s somewhat gathering dust these past few months. Just looking to see how markets are now for this particular car. I know there are a few 128i listings here as well with great specs and putting mine somewhat in line w them. Edit August 2021: Revisiting the thread again. Got a few more highway miles on it now but still amazingly runs well. I do drive it to and from tracks now. But maintenance has been done even more so. I have to say for an N51, this car has been brilliant on track and can put up a fight w similar powered cars. I do a lot events w PCA AND BMWCCA and have had nothing but good things from instructors and track buddies alike about how it performs. It’s balanced and just has enough pep to be competitive. I do Advanced level DEs though, no TTs or anything timed or competitive. I’m at the point where I’m decided to move to bucket seats, six points and a cage, which is quite an undertaking both financially and physically. Everyone’s saying it’s too pretty to be caged up (would be so cool though I’m sure) so I’m leaning towards selling and keep it as is rather than gutting jt. I figured someone might have some fun in the twisties and at the track as well and at the same time, cruise around on your own or w the family like I did before. I’m contemplating moving to a Porsche and for tracking and as much as I love the car, it’s just smarter to sell to fund part of the purchase. PS additions to the car as of 2021: BW TA 16 17with brand new 245/40 RT660s Asking 15K firm for the car. Forged wheels can be arranged for additional money (these are the best track wheel/tire combo). Suspension and exhaust can be reverted to OEM and will adjust price accordingly if mods aren’t preferred. Last edited by $iriu$black; 10-06-2021 at 12:51 PM.. |

If you are serious about selling, ping me. I am local.
I'll leave pricing suggestions to others. But from my own research, black/grey/silver manual 128is seem to trade in a fairly narrow range. |

I sold mine in identical spec for low-teens about a year ago, was on the market for a few months. Mine had 71k on it and no suspension mods, but did have PE and a few other odds and ends. My old ad is here: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1433691

I’m also considering putting it into stock form and then part out the mods which might help out people looking for used parts and generate more in the end. I’ll be patient. Thanks again. |

Fantastic car. I just bought my similar spec '13 last year and am also local to you. Found the car here on the forums. If you do want to sell it this is the place for sure.
Also, as you mentioned if you want to sell some of the mods I'd be interested in the PE. Let me know. GLWS if you decide to go through with it!

I bought my '13 similar spec'ed last July. it had 45k miles then. From a private seller in Cambridge. I paid $14k including a set of winter steelies and snows. Mine is missing the 207M wheels. They got damaged and replaced by the previous owner. It now has a set of 17" square, I believe style 141. Anyway, I think I paid a fair price. Turned 68k miles today.

Car looks great with good mods. I'm almost in the market to buy one. Need to sell my 328i convertible with almost similar mods as yours.
Let me know what price you have in your mind. I'm from NJ and MA is not far |

If you are going to sell and would want to sell your original 207M wheels separately (assuming you still have them), PM me. I might be interested. I am in MA as well.

Revisiting this post of mine. Great specs on all the other 128i’s listed here currently and putting mine in line.
I hope I won’t regret it should it sell. I love this car! A lot of plans in my family’s near future and this potential sale will definitely help, though not required. |

By my count you have 11 very significant upgrades on the car using parts that are just about the very best available. All these mods [to me] add at least $5K over a standard car. I track my 128 once or twice a year and wish I had these mods. And, it was recently said in a dialogue in our motorsports community that a car that has been tracked is a good buy because the owner has done exceptional maintenance on the car. I often tell people looking for a car to see what tires are on the car; Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Hankook, Dunlop, Firestone=good, Wang Ho Super Trak=not so good.
My 2008 with 65,500 miles [winter stored 5-6 months each year] still has original water pump and thermostat AND battery [thanks Deltran]. Folks this sounds like a great car-this is the one you want. |

This might not be as clapped out as some of the other 128i track cars here like Phloozy , spidertri and the others, but it has gotten me from complete Novice to now Advanced with minimal to no additional mods. Quite a good starter DE car tbh. |
