Help! My seats are now as slick as a greased pig.
Help, went out this weekend and took my car out for the night to a club. I had my cousin and her friend in the car. My cousin feel a sleep in the back and her makeup got onto the back seat. So I went to WalMart at 2 am bought Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Wipes to clean the mess up. It cleaned it up, but looked like some one touched the car with a oily french frie hands. So I panicked and did all of the leather so it would match.
Now there is a oily residue of that I cant get off. It looks like some one went crazy with the jerry curel spary bottel. I tried wipping it off with a soft cotton towel and this stuff is staying on like its holding on for dear life. Please let me know how to get my leather to be not oily again. Alex |

I'd try a washcloth dipped in a bucket of warm water with a very diluted amount of hand soap or baby shampoo in it. I'm talking like a capfull here. Best of luck.

Soooo you dropped off your cousin's friend, and your cousin wound up in the back seat, face down, and you had smears on the seat. :eyebulge:I think I saw this show on realityTV.
Seriously, call Meguiars. They should have a hot line. 1-800-347-5700 Also, if you've ever used Griots before, call them and they can give you advise. Heck, they'd probably talk to you anyway... They may offer a short term solution, if they have something that will fix it in the long term. It may just absorb eventually. Good luck! |

So you took your new car for a "REAL test drive!" That a boy. Not much room in there for doing that...
I have always used LExol leather cleaner and protectant. It is worth the money. Use the cleaner first and it will remove the problems then give her the protectant. |

Blot the leather with a microfiber towel to remove the excess oil. Take a rung out wet rag with warm water an a touch of baby shampoo and wipe down. Blot with microfiber again. Repeat until gone. Leave doors open and fan dry leather. Don't over wet the leather without blotting dry.
