xHP Stage 2 v1.5 for AT 6spd

Has anyone been using the stage 2 version 1.5 flash? I noticed you have 5 versions to pick from when flashing your TCU. I ended up going with v1.5, I assume it's the best option to go with. After driving 50 miles I noticed the shifts in D were smoother and faster for gears 1-3 but the car seemed to bog down in gears 5-6 but other than that I didn't really notice a difference in S or M compared to the stage 1 map.

Is it just me or did I waste money on the stage 2 map?

Honestly, you probably wasted your money twice by not just going to stage 3. I didn't even bother with those others knowing that I'd eventually go stage 3. Everyone on the forums and other groups seemed to echo the same.

I almost went that route but I kept reading threads about how harsh the stg 3 tune was when shifting.

Is that not the case now? What more does the stg 3 map over over the stg 2 map? Like I said I didn’t notice much of a difference going from stg 1 to 2.

Just to confirm, assuming you have jb4, you do have to remove jb4 in order to properly flash the XPH files correct?

I put my JB4 in map 0 and flashed xHP stage 3 no problem.
