Dinan Upgrades for the E90 330i to be available soon!

To all 330 owners;

I just took a ride to MotorworksWest, an authorized Dinan tuner. Coincidentally, yesterday he got a flyer in the mail from Dinan saying that this month, the high-flow throttle body will be available for the 330, followed by the cold-air intake & the exhaust in September. The announcement has not even been put on Dinan's website yet. No word on anything for the 325, according to the flyer.

Pricing to follow whenever they put it up on their website.

Edit: Dave (the owner) made me a copy of the flyer, but I don't have a scanner.

Are there any good details in the flyer; for example do they say what the gains are from the TB etc? Can you maybe take a picture of the flyer?

All I would like is the ECU software re-programming to remove the speed and rev limiter, like they supply for other BMW's!

No!!! It's about smoothing out the engine response, max pull thru the rev range and the added benifit of slightly better fuel economy. That at least was my experience with my Z4 and a friends e46 when using the DINAN software re-program. For the record, I am not interested in anything other than driving my E90 "safely", thats why I've signed up for the 2-day performance driving school that BMW offers and joined BMWCCA

Awesome where is the 2 day perf driving school? Are you talking about the one for performace delivery?

I'm waiting for ESS Tuning's supercharger to come out. According to a post I made on their forum, if all goes according to plan, it will be available in the spring of '07. They said they are shooting for an HP boost to 350 HP, for both the 330i and the 325i. Based on their current available products I'm guessing it'll be priced at around $6K.

This is good news and much more helpful than the negative info I was getting from that Pompous Azz Representative from Dinan at the LA Convention Center who implied that the E90 is so well tweaked that nobody could improve upon that. Then, Mr. Dinan rep, WTH do you have a job?

It's the 2 day performance driving school (one of many types) BMW offers year-round at Spartanburg, South Carolina. The course is located near the BMW assembly plant. I am booked for October, loking forward to gaining some much needed skills to maximize the enjoyment of my E90 (or really any vehicle).
