Just flew into Melbourne yesterday.
Mrs is going on a 3 day shopping spree and dragged me down too. I may pop in. Who can pick me up from Chapel St?

Just picked up the car. Mrs alpine is the driver but I can say it sounds pretty horn, really raspy and lots of crackles and farts on overrun.

Heading to BMW Melbourne for a free carpark and a peruse of their showroom.

M1 we got the Akra, no surprises there (full system minus down pipes, thought we'd leave those alone) withe the oh so hot CF tips. We also got some LUX DRLs done plus the other little software update, specifically for a 1M WITH an AKRA.

I will do a write up and lots of photos soon, on a new specific thread. Patience grasshoppers.

No. Even in the US it can still void the warranty. It is just that Dinan is giving the warranty should BMW doesn't cover. Ie, if the problem is considered to be due to the mod/tune. Andrew@southernBM told me they are working out a similar arrangement here.

The reason I got the ESS is so that I can flash it myself. I am not going to flash it back before I visited the dealer. If the tune is responsible for a damage in the car, then I am always happy to pay. The only contention pieces are the charge pipe and the HFPF where the N54 has a known problem. I will be happy to pay for the turbo for example, if it dies in the warranty period, and the mods are determined to be the cause.

That many years of N54 modding, and no one really have any issues within the warranty period.

It all seems a bit too convienant for BMW..

Just like the rumours started back in 08 when we all started running tunes.

Until we actually have positive proof of warranty denial, just not hearsay, I say BS..

My bad, should have mentioned the color, Santorini Blue.

The seats also have matching blue stitching.
