Thanks for this. Ordered the BMS oil valve bypass.
Dont know why I did not do this earlier.
My oil may even last longer too due to less heat stress at the track or during spirited driving with my Cobb tune.
These turbo engines run so damn hot.

Reporting back ;-)

Hard to believe but this simple/low cost mode did wonders to my oil temperature at the track yestedray, even with higher boost levels generated by a more aggressive Cobb Map.

Oil temp never passed the half way mark, and in fact stayed a notch below mid point on my N55 (235*F / 115*C).

To you guys who use this BMS Tstat bypass, do you leave it on during the winter (off season) or you revert to your stock Tstat?

Im wondering if oil temps that are too low may cause issues ...
