Hi, just joined this forum. I have a black 116i which i bought in may.
I live in Cheshire, UK. I also have a '97 328i touring and a E60 Sepang Bronze M5. So the 116i is the smallest and least powerful car in the stable. |

Welcome Zipme17.
The forum is starting to grow...tho this seems to be a shallow time for any real news of the 2-er. That's quite a collection of Bimmers you have there- which do you enjoy the most? And why did you get the 116i?...seems you could have gone up a couple notches in engine size had you wanted to do so. |

Welcome!
The M5 must be impressive. We have a 530i and a 320i in the family and just love them (unfortunately neither are mine). I'm a incurable BMW wannabe, who has to be satisfied for now with my Acura TSX (very similar to the European Honda Accord, but slightly upmarket to the North American version) and a soon to be acquired Honda Odyssey. Thankfully, though, I've got full dispensation from she-who-is-almighty to replace the Acura with a BMW in due course... Since the launch of the 1-series, I've been looking forward to a similar BMW product coming to Canada, as this would be, for me, an ideal replacement for the TSX. Enough about me. I'm curious, too, about your choice of the 116i, not that there is anything at all wrong with it. Bored already with the M5?? Hard to imagine. Have to admit, though, that the 1-series, in any spec, looks like a lot of fun from this side of the pond. Welcome to the world of 2-Series anticipation and speculation... |
