2009 n54 135i Rear Duct

I had my car in for headlight bracket replacement I get a call from bmw stating my intake rear duct supposedly for my turbos she claims is leaking air, part number
(13717556550). And they quote me a price of 460 dollars. I checked and found the part to be only about 96.00.. I was thinking of doing this myself I believe it is the hose behind the intake box checked on realoem, I looked on Google to see if anyone tackled the job but couldn't find anything. If anyone has any advice or has done this before or a DIY or anything would be great.

To replace this you need access to the rear turbo which means your downpipe has to come off... Which explains the $400...

Looks like they broke the charge pipe where the diverter valve plugs in. If they don't fix it (which they should), it's a pretty easy install. I'm surprised you don't feel a serious drop in power, and see a yellow half engine light on your display. You're definitely loosing boost.

funny cuz i feel a verry minor drop in power and no check engine light. i guess maybe cuz only one diverter valve is cracked off? yea im gonna stop by tomorow if a snaping belt cant cause this i feel like they leaned on it with there hand or something, and i want to see if its the charge pipe or the rear duct hopefully just the chargepipe
