New (435i) N55 Dynos from BMS

Didn't see this posted in here but I thought it was pretty interesting, looks like the 4" outlet is allowing the turbo to hold boost much better. Wonder how much work it would take to bolt one of these up to the 1 (Since I haven't seen anything from RB and VTT turbo upgrade is way too much $).

Thanks for the heads up on this, I would've overlooked that info bc it was a 435i dyno thread. Interesting stuff though and I am also curious about the impressive numbers from the 4 vs comparable stock numbers from the N55 in the 135i.

Is the 4 in. turbo outlet contributing more to the difference or is it the electric wastegate control? If it's the outlet that's allowing +415hp on the stock N55 snail then that could be a very very popular upgrade!

I wonder what the upgraded solenoid consists of? I didnt see it on their site. Maybe its like a grimmspeed 3 port for the subie and evo guys.

Yeah I read about this too! But if I remember clearly, it's only for 2014+ N55's but if I'm wrong, someone let me know cause I'm definitely interested! Haha

Yeah, doesn't the F30 have an electronic waste gate too and still making the same power as our 135s? Pretty sure the 4" outlet is where the power is gained. I hope RB and Pure Turbos are noticing. Their Stage 2 turbos should definitely use a 4" outlet.
