128 vs 328xi, 328i, 325i, 330i rear chassis differences ?
Hi guys !
So, i was involved in a pretty bad crash. My 128i's rear subframe and every suspension component on the rear passenger side is destroyed. But, the car can be saved. So, I plan to swap the entire subframe with suspensions components for another. I know the shocks and coils springs do not fit, but its the rear end of a 328i, 328xi, 325i etc fits the 128i ? The less things I need to unbolt the best it is. Thank you guys and waiting for you answers. |

Familiarize yourself with realoem.com.
According to my research there, our real axle carrier (sub frame) is part number 33316783713 and is also used on all E9x models, so good news. I didn't check all attachments. |

Although the subframe might be the same, I think the wheelbase might be different, best to take a look at axle part numbers, wheel carrier part numbers, etc to be sure.

Do not trust a vendor's system, always use realoem.

E90 rear hubs are 10mm narrower than E82 rear hubs. You'll want to swap those out if you're reusing E82 brakes.
