My stock wheels with spacers rubbed as well…
So I used a heat gun and a plant piece of wood to re-shape the liner until there was no rub.

With a heat gun the liner melts really nicely! And takes any shape you wish.

Got the 1M aligned today and sure feels so much better than before.

Issues I had before alignment:
- steering not centered. Points slightly to the left (Fixed)
- Car pulls to the right (Fixed)
- Front driver tire wears faster than passenger (Fixed with zero toe)
- Rear passenger tire slight rub on fender under bumps (Fixed. Added more rear camber)

The before alignment measurements were all whacky. It’s all over the place. Shop smooth it all out based on my preference with spirited driving and slightly track setup in case I decide in the future. Ultimate setup was to ensure that no rubbing on 275 front and 295 rear tires.

Haha .. you should see what my red car has.

“You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland. And I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

Also, plate was carried over from my M2CS. I might as well use it. Not a big fan of personalized plates that are too common in the car world or the ones that don't make any sense. lol

Found some time to take some decent photos before a storm heading our way in NorCal. My goodness, this car is such photogenic. Regardless which photo angle you take, it just looks so damn good.

Dear lord!!!!

Your 380mm front and rear discs look awesome. I have 380mm F/370mm R and its amazing how much of a difference 10mm makes.

Whats the specs on the LM's, I didn't catch it.

Did my first DIY oil change. Since I used to have an E90 335i, it was easy peasy.

Decided to drop my 1M at my detailer to remove the old yellowing PPF, 2 step paint correction, install new PPF and top it off with a full ceramic coating. Been at the shop since Monday and I’m hoping to get it back by tomorrow or early Saturday. I installed the OEM black wheels back. LM wheels has ceramic coating.

Photos below is just the completion removal of the old PPF and wash. Can’t wait to see the paint correction final result. There are many swirl marks all over the paint and old PPF. Just in time for some good weather ahead.
