Hey guys....

All the pricing structure and terms are ready, but we wanted to PM everyone once www.shopicarbon.com was set with all the new products up, coupon codes made, volume discounts automatically in place, etc....... when our server for the shopicarbon.com administrator back-end crashed. NICE!

It will be back up and running in the morning, we'll finish the coupon codes and send them away.

Talk to you guys in the mornin'

- Andy

Im looking for installed pics of the one-sided hood. Also, where those vents are places on both sides of the power bump, any chance of water hitting anything vital in the engine compartment? I will be keeping the stock airbox, so no open intake, however I will have a BOV setup to the right of the airbox, so if its pouring rain, im assuming all kindsa rain n crap could get in the engine from that, possibly mess something up..thoughts?

I hope the guys from the original group buy get extra discounts for supporting you guys from Day 1 which was over a year ago

Also, is there any R&D that shows that the CF hood is just as strong as OEM? Or is this completely aesthetic? I really need this but need to pass ADR.

Mine was now or never. I got the household appropriations committee (my wife) to approve the purchase today. I had to do it during her moment of weakness. I've already got the paint shop lined up and everything. I'll be doing something a little special with this

Hey guys! Ok, so everything is almost in line... we've been updating the pricing and getting everything set.

We'll be making a new thread today with all of the coupon codes and instructions, that way you guys can get the pieces at a below GB price and also be able to score a sick deal if you want to add anything else to the order.

For right now, only retail prices are on the site, so the coupon will bring the prices down to the final Pre-Order price, which will be disclosed in the new thread.

Working on it, will be up in a bit!

We can make it so that the vents are closed on the underside (and people would never know the difference). We can make that an option on the hood when you go to order.

So, just to recap on the hoods (all of this will be explained on the new pre-pro thread), this is what we're looking like.

Three hoods are available:

iCS Hood: Power Bulge with M3-like small vents on either side of the bulge. Available in single sided carbon and double sided carbon with open or closed vents.

iCS Vented Hood: Power bulge with slat-style vents further down the hood (no M3-like vents). Available in single sided carbon and double sided carbon with Black vents OR Carbon Fiber vents. Both kinds are available open (functional) or closed (non-functional).

iCS Race-Lite Hood (custom made to order): Power bulge with slat-style vents AND M3-like vents. Available only in our Race-Lite construction which is maximized for weight savings. We recommend this for extreme weight saving applications only.

The trunk is available in 3 trims as well:

iCS Trunk Single Sided Carbon

iCS Trunk Double Sided Carbon

iCS Race-Lite Trunk (custom made to order): *for extreme weight saving applications only*

Hope this helps! Working hard at getting this up and running!

Anyone that orders more than 1 piece will get an additional x% off of the entire order

What are the benefits to double-sided carbon hood and trunk? How much do the double-sided hood and trunk weigh?

Also, can you please post a link to the new GB thread you plan on creating for this? Thx...

VACC (Vacuum Assisted Composite Construction) is our answer to traditional FRP pieces, and is much more durable, lightweight, and comes primed and ready for paint with minimal prep work.

When the GB opens lead time for a trunk (or hood) in VACC will be about 3-4 weeks
Are we still looking at 3-4 weeks out for the VACC derivative?

Thanks in advance.
