Oil Pan Gasket - Comprehensive How To?

Does anyone have a comprehensive "how to" on replacing the oil pan gasket on a 2013 N55? I just finished replacing the OFHG on my 2013 BMW 135is and now I believe the oil pan gasket is seeping a little as well and could use replacing.

I've watched a few videos, but there isn't anything comprehensive. A list of what needs removed and in what order? Also, does everything just unbolt and bolt back together or are there additional steps like bleeding systems or alignment or similar? I know I'm supposed to get an engine support, but I haven't seen how to use that as a part of the process.

Thank you if anyone can help out.

Try cleaning the Oil Pan first and waiting to see if you still have a leak. Sometimes the oil from an OFHG leak will make it down there and make it look like the Oil Pan Gasket is leaking as well, but it could be residual.

Otherwise, the engine support bar is so you can lower the subframe (Which supports the engine), so you can lower the oil pan.

I cleaned everything up and it seems like it is still seeping a little. I left the plastics off the bottom so I could watch it and it does produce a drop or two on the floor over a week's time.

Wow, I think that's what I need. Thank you!

I need to also figure out where to buy the gasket and bolts from. I normally order from FCPEuro, but I didn't see a kit with everything needed for the Oil Pan Gasket on a DCT.

On a side note: I tried to update my profile pic and it says "File Invalid" even though I'm following all the size restrictions?
