09 iDrive glitch??

Hey all, anyone else have this problem?

When on the iPod main playlists screen I try to set one of the memory keys to direct to this location, ie. all of my playlists. The dang computer tells me this is "not allowed". What gives here?!?!?! I want it to work!!!!

go one screen back, to where you select to go to the playlists, then hold the memory key down. see if that works.

had the same problem with a different memory set.

Yep, me too. It seems that not all functions can be programmed to the memory buttons which is annoying.

Does anyone with an 09 idrive find that 'random' play of the songs on the HDD won't stay on? Every time I restart the car I have to reselect random. I tried adding it to a shortcut button for that reason but it is one of the functions that isn't allowed. I wish it would just stay on when I set it!

I can confirm. It doesn't come back up in random mode, you have to select it every time.

Yuppers, I have this issue too. Oh well I just deal with it.
