It's cheap and durable but initial fitment before modification is rubbish! |

it wasnt hard at all to fit/modify. There are these two thick block sections in the middle of the lip , these are the only sections that require modification. I grinded them down with an angle grinder at about 45 degrees, bit by bit and it fit.

I'm going to contact one of the eBay replica mfgrs I've used before and see if they would be willing to make an abs/pu replica of one of the proper lips. Will update later.

I finally have my "CHEAP LIP" installed. As I completely forgot that I bought this 3 months ago before I even got the car, until Joaco135 PM'd me last week.
So I cut the lip in half (horizontally) to thinner it, and I also chopped those wings off. Fitment is horrible, but you can get it to fit it you try. No special tools are need, but having a friend is highly recommended. You will need someone to secure the fitment while putting the strewing it on. I am still very concerned about how well this CHEAPLIP will hold onto the bumper. Wish me luck guys. PS: Props to my friend Andy (the one with Piano Interior Trim, if you followed my iLoveSpeedbump thread), who helped me with cutting and fitting!!!

Damn, beat me to it. Well, now I know how it will look. Glad someone else was thinking about shaving it down and cutting the wings off. Looks awesome for ~150 bucks!
How did you secure it?

How's the weight of it? It looks pretty good without the wings, but you can still see where you cut them off. It could use some fine sanding.

Yea...the cut offs are quite obvious. I actually bought gloss black vinyl to cover it. But now i dont think its worth spending that much time and effort on this "CHEAP LIP" as if I have not already invested enough. forget it, I just didnt want my gf to scratch the bumper, so whatever.

There you will need to drill 8 holes on to the bumper. there are a total of 10 screws to secure it.
