UPDATE: 2/18/18
Not much going on lately with the car. Hit a brick or something very hard in the street at night and cracked a front wheel. I went ahead and ordered a new oil pan gasket and that will finally make this engine leak free and I can put on the brand new belly pan. I also went ahead and ordered a Team MFactory 3.46 Helical LSD for a 135i automatic. I got the entire pumpkin since this is my only car currently, so ill get that swapped over as soon as it shows up! Ive decided I'm going to put in an RTD non-locking shifter along with a DSSR and some new bits and pieces along the way, solid subframe bushings, and a new clutch. Stay tuned! UPDATE: 2/28/2018
Quick little update on the car.. Ordered a Team MFactory 3.46 215mm LSD for the car, I will be swapping driveshaft flange on diff and it should fit right in. well see.. And we all know you cant just go throwing fun parts on a car you drive hard so I had to match the expense with some maintenance Purchased a new belly pan, oil pan gasket, contitech suprentine belt and tensioner kit, and a center console arm rest delete form the dealership. As far as the cars well being goes, I found some time to deep clean the wheel wells. On the other hand, I got pushed into a curb and destroyed my wheels and tires on driver side. Ordered some Satin Black Apex ARC (car pictured has same setup) 18x8.5 et38 - 255/35 18x9 et42 - 265/35 While at the dealer I also spotted my future car hehe heres some picturessssss! |

I like the side skirts! How'd you do it? I've been trying to figure out something similar but haven't taken the plunge yet.

I will need to go back with a thicker 1/4" ABS and tuck them in some more over the summer, they have gotten wavy in the heat :/ |

UPDATE: 4/8/2018
Everything has been moving steadily! I just finished up swapping the factory 3.23 188mm open differential for a Team MFactory Helical LSD 3.46 215mm and I couldn't be happier! The only additional part required for the differential swap was a 135i rear driveshaft half. It slipped right into the 128i front half, paired with a new CSB and hardware it was a smooth job. 900 miles logged and no issues. The new wheels and Firestone Indy 500 are also amazing! NEXT UP: Solid subframe bushings Install my two new MOMO Start seats RTD non-locking shifter GC street plates up front and linear spring conversion for the PSS9 Should be a fun summer! CHEERS! |

And the rear brake shoes fit perfectly into the F30 345mm semi-floating rear rotors, only addition pieces that made this kit a direct bolt on was adding a time sert into the rear calipers and a small washer inbetween the knuckle and rear caliper to center the caliper to the rotor! |

I wasnt referring to the Style 124, i meant to ask about a few posts before there was a close up of a nice 10 spoke wheel.
great to know that F30 brake disks work with brake shoes like that

UPDATE: 5/25/18
Been very busy with work and other things haven't time to post but I did however have time for working on the car. Last month I actually wrecked the car and took the time down to do the front end genuine 1M conversion. Along with the 1M front end conversion, I added a carbon front lip from a buddy of mine in Maryland, if anyone would like one shoot me an PM for best pricing!! Black carpet, console, and Recaro SPG PROFI seats went in. Progress will come to a hault as I lost my job yesterday due to this car. After wrecking the car, I brought it to my dealership (southern states Mazda of Raleigh) for the insurance company to send an adjuster out and build an estimate. In the process the body shop crushed the brand new belly pan I installed, and I was willing to live with that since I already purchased the correct one for the 1M (which I now think is the same as the 135i with different front piece). But after that incident I brought the car to the main shop where I worked, to have the suspension repaired. Repair went badly, the technician pressed in a new bushing into a cracked knuckle and realized it was cracked after pressing in $90 bushing. Idiot. After I purchased a new knuckle I had him finish the job. Once he buttoned it up, it was due for an alignment, however it got the complete opposite... After finishing the suspension work the technician drove across the dealership to the Subaru shop to use their alignment rack, but it was full so he had to turn around. As I was walking outside to move a car in progress, I saw him drive over a massive parking block with my car, RUINING the undercarriage shields and transmission pan. I then brought this to the attention of my General Manager and 3 other lower managers. A few days go by and I get asked a bunch of questions and then silent for a few days after. Which led to me pressing them for reimbursement of about $600 in total damages done. Some arguments were had, in respectable manors mostly, but unfortunately they were thick headed and fired me for denying their shady $200 payment from the technicians pocket. I'm now in the middle of a lawsuit. Its not the money that bothers me, its the sheer disrespect and shadiness of this company. Anywho, onto more positive things! This means I can continue to work on the car myself and gt things done the right way. Subframe bushings, alignment and corner balance, oil pan gasket next! I will post photos of the car in the morning and edit this update post. Last edited by E30ROB; 05-25-2018 at 09:44 PM.. |

Holy shit dude what a story.... This is why I never double dip with things... Always keep work/friends/family/and personal projects separate.
