Question Red Car on Lift Icon "Lighting System Failed" after new Battery

My battery went completely dead unfortunately so I replaced my battery with an identical new battery. My car starts but I am getting a Red Car on Lift error Icon and my headlights will not turn on. My windows won't roll down either. I did some research and it sounds like I am experiencing a "Lighting System Failed" error after installing my new battery. What should I do to fix this issue? Do I need to have BMW hook it up to their special computer or is this something I can take care of myself?

Step 1, was your battery coded to your car? If not, get it coded, can be done with Carly (phone app) or other means.

Step 2, sounds like an FRM module failure. Would suggest doing some research on that, but the FRM controls lights and windows. It's also a part that BMW has covered under an extended warranty: https://bimmerscan.com/wp-content/up.../B012016-1.pdf

Good luck
