Hello-

I'm currently on the hunt for a 128i "stripper." Here are my needs and wants:

Needs:

• Manual transmission
• No moon/sunroof
• No iDrive/navigation
• N52 engine (no SULEV N51)
• Under 50k miles
• Black interior (coral red is ok)
• Service records
• Non-smoker (absolutely has to be due to health reasons)

Wants:

• Exterior color in this order: White, blue, red, silver (no cashmere), grey (no black)
• M-Sport package
• Shadowline trim

This car will see primarily HPDE and spirited driving duty, getting upgrades to do both with aplomb.

If you have any suggestions for other items I should be searching with regard to my trim selection, please do chime in.

I've had some fun cars in the past that I've kept in mint shape to maintain their value. But, with this one, I'm going to mold it to my tastes and needs. And I'm not going to mind one bit if it gets a little character on the track or during that joy ride or spirited trip. I'm less concerned with it keeping/gaining value and more about the joy it will bring me as I tweak it over many years.

Hopefully I can find the right one. I'm willing to be patient.

Oh, I would be curious to know what you all think about the N51 SULEV engines. I'm finding non-m sport strippers in this configuration. But, I'm a bit concerned about them...perhaps wrongly so.

I have a 2012 128i, m sport package. no nav, no sunroof, 6 speed manual. gun metal grey with black interior. purchased with 16k miles, now it has 17k. I put the brand new run flats in my garage, running all seasons instead, conti extreme contact. about 1000 miles on those.

I bought it CPO a year ago, previous owner was a BMW enthusiast, hence the lack of add on packages. airbag fixed. cosmetically very good, mechanically very good. great car to drive.
non smoker. job change has meant that I just don't drive it, my commute is now 1/2 mile on foot.

I bought it a year ago, CPO, air bag fixed. I've only driven 1500 miles. I have OEM run flats, 500 miles, and replaced with bridgestone all weather. full sized spare. non smoker, garaged
