This is a very old post, sorry we missed it before, but just wanted to follow up for anyone else who may be wondering the same.

Ideal 1-series spec varies, depending if you're looking for something a bit more performance or aesthetic oriented. It's also important to note that not each wheel is offered in each spec. Here are generally what we'll recommend below for 18" rub-free fitments:

Front: 18x8.5 ET45 w/225/40/18
Rear 1: 18x9.5 ET45 w/245/35/18
Rear 2: 18x9.5 ET50 w/255/35/18
Rear 3: 18x9.5 ET57-58 w/265/35/18

Here are some recent shots from a 135i owner on our new flow formed V801 that should give you a good idea of the fitment. In this case the customer went with 18x8.5 ET45 + 18x9.5 ET45 (though this wheel is also offered in ET50 rear):

Massive thanks and shoutout to Brandon at VMR for all his help and patience over email correspondence in getting my order shipped all the way over to Perth, Western Australia.

VMR V703 Super Silver
18x8.5 +35 | 18x9.5 +45

Might test fit some 5mm spacers on the rear.
Stock M-Tech suspension at the moment.
No guard mods needed yet at this height.

Those springs should work, but it would be a tight fit. It could come down to the shape of the specific tire brand/model.

TIA

I don't have V701's available in 1 Series fitments at the moment. I'll have square setups available early in June, but no timeline for staggered. The closest alternative I have available would be the V702. These are offered in 18x8.5 ET45 for the front/square setup and 18x9.5 ET57 in the rear.

Here are a few pictures. You can see more in this thread!

Thanks! Only interested in the 701 personally. Loved them on my Jetta. Do they come 18x8.5 in silver? I tried looking online and other distributors only had them in gunmetal

They do! I'll be receiving them within a few weeks! I'm currently taking preorders, if you'd like to reserve your set!

Nice fitment! What tires are you running in the rear & what's your suspension setup? Any rubbing?

Do you have a different angle to see the offsets and the proximity to the fenders?

Classic_Blunders I would be interested as well. I'm running 225/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4s on 19x8 ET37 wheels up front and I am experience some rubbing on medium-heavy dips. In theory, my wheels poke out more than yours by only 1.7mm. Would like to see how close your wheels are to the fender for comparison.

Hope this helps. The tire shop left the space on the front (cant remember what size) from my winter wheels. Still no rubbing but haven't been on any uneven pavement/big dips yet.

I'm looking to purchase a set of V703 wheels for my 135i I currently have no drop so I'm stock height M sport suspension and my tire sizes are 225/40/18 in the front and 255/35/18 in the rear. What wheel offsets/sizes do you guys recommend so that I don't rub?
