135is - What is a reasonable price?
Hi,
I have been contacting dealers over the past week trying to get a purchase price for this vehicle. I live in CT and the pricing i have received isn't what i was hoping for, i have a price in mind that i want to spend. I was told invoice for this vehicle was $46,820 by one of the dealers. What do you think is a fair deal? Edit: I found a dealership that had what i found to be reasonable price so i ordered the vehicle shown. Last edited by AGAV13; 04-13-2013 at 05:24 PM.. |

Price equal to invoice is fair, or invoice + $500 worst case is what you should shoot for. What are you being offered?

Yeah the thread kouper posted the link to is mine. I live in Chicago and have less options than you (no premium package or heated seats) and I paid $46.8k. I was happy with that and spoke with three dealers in my area and with those options no one would go a dime lower. The other two flat out told me that they couldn't even match that price.

Just placed my order for my 135is today, as a matter of fact i just got home from the dealer. I contacted BMW of Ridgefield and right off of the bat they had beaten all of the other dealers price by several hundred dollars. I also got recent college graduate program $1000 and $750 for BMW loyalty money off of the bottom dollar, not to mention an additional $500 from BMW CCA once i take delivery of the vehicle.
This is going to be a long 6-8 weeks. Cant wait. |
