1 Series USB Port
Hello,
I am trying to set up Audio compatible with Steering Wheel Control. I know this cannot be done with the 3.5mm Aux connection which seems to be the only available option apart from a bluetooth transmitter, which again wouldn't be compatible for Steering Wheel Control. I have tried looking for a USB port but only could find this empty port looking thing in the glovebox, images attached. Can anyone confirm if this actually is the USB port and is just missing? If not, is it possible to install a USB port in there which would give Steering Wheel Control? Thank you in advance! Edit: 2010 120i Coupe Last edited by lhyeos; 04-15-2024 at 04:18 PM.. |

Might help to know the year and model.
My 2013 US-spec E82 has the USB input under the center armrest and my iPod can be controlled by the steering wheel controls. My wife's earlier 2009 (RIP) did not have USB. |

have you got a MULF2? BT? you probably have to retro fit it as my coupe which is also a 2010, has the aux and usb in the same location under the arm rest.
