135i rough gearbox

I am in the process of buying a 2009 135i with 39,000 miles on it and was wondering how smooth the gearboxes are with these cars over time. I currently own a 2013 Subaru brz, which I can't stand because of how rough the gearbox is, especially with shifts from first to second gear. Theres a crunch/bind a lot of the time when shifting from 1 to 2. Will I have this problem with a 135i? Also is there anything else I should look out for when buying, except for the hpfp? Thank you for any help.
