I came across this today randomly. Would look cool on a white car. Not at all on my Space Gray Metallic

A little too over the top for me. I put the stripes on my kidney up front, but that's probably all the 'striping' I'll add.

Most of those are way too "in-your-face" for me. I don't mind the second to last pic where it's just on the rear 1/4 panel

Yeah, not subtle at all. lol

Understated is what I think of when I picture the 1 series.

Edit: of course looks are subjective, so whatever your tastes are. Some people might think my blue is too much!

Personally I like the last pic of the 1er but ode put it at the bottom along the rocker.

I think original comment about stripes on Alpine white are on the money. Last picture of white and blue ones shows validity of his comment. Blue does not look good to me.

I like the ones on the first M4 and M235iR, the ones on the 1-Series look cheesy and wrong (design-wise). I really like the hood stripes that were on the 1-Series Tii Concept Car, those are classy

M stripes on a white M2 are very cool. M stripes on a non-M are not cool.
